Parks & RecreationThe Town of Meggett offers Community Parks, Public Docks, and Public Boat Ramps with a variety of amenities for your enjoyment. Although not all of these amenities are overseen by the Town itself, they are all located in and around the Town limits and are open to the public.

MEGGETT COUNTY PARK
OWNED & MANAGED BY CHARLESTON COUNTY Heavily-forested with beautiful marsh views, approximately five miles of trails within the 416-acre Meggett County Park are open to walkers, runners, cyclists, and equestrians. The park is home to dozens of grand live oak trees, a variety of wildlife, and features an island, wetlands, and spectacular views of the marsh and surrounding landscape. Several tributaries of the Toogoodoo River flow adjacent to the property. In its early stages of being available for public use, the park will not be regularly staffed, nor will it have restrooms on site.
